The simple interface of the WhereWand guides the user through the process of reading or setting device parameters, while the built-in barcode scanner permits fast entry of RTLS tag IDs. A valuable component of Zebra's WhereNet Real Time Location Systems (RTLS), WhereWand streamlines initial setup or extension and modification?ensuring that the system can adapt quickly to your customers' ever-changing business.

Introducing the Zebra UWB Wand Module, a smart-phone sized table-top device that supports easy wireless set up and configuration of Zebra UWB Tags as well as UWB Tag inventory and reporting.?The UWB Wand Module enables end users to easily set-up, configure and manage thousands of Zebra UWB Tags. The UWB Wand is capable of configuring up to 100 tags at once and is capable of inventorying and providing reports on thousands of UWB Tags. The UWB Wand Module transmits LF commands to the UWB Tags to turn tags on/off, and to set their reporting rate. In turn, the UWB Wand Module receives command acknowledgement from the UWB Tags via their UWB channel. The UWB Wand Module is powered via a USB connector and is controlled via the included UWB Wand application software.

UWB Hub connects to multiple UWB Sensors via eight serial interface ports. It enables simple and fast UWB sensor installation by providing power, data and clock to the UWB Sensors over a single shielded Ethernet cable. System wiring is intuitive and cost effective, supporting the daisy-chain connection of multiple UWB Sensors. Embedded software on the hub allows for system configuration and display of real-time tag locations via a browser-based GUI interface based on a Java run-time environment. Introducing Zebra's ultra-wideband (UWB) Tags that are affixed to assets or personnel to monitor and track their location at all times?in real time?to an accuracy of up to 30 cm. UWB Tag have a unique ID and emit UWB pulses that are received by Zebra's UWB Sensors. Tags are easily configured to a wide range of update rates with Zebra's UWB Wand, a small wireless transmitter. The UWB Tags are small, active tags used in asset and personnel visibility applications. At a 1 Hz update rate, battery life is 7 years. UWB Tag are offered in two form factors: a small circular tag used on assets and a low-profile badge tag used on personnel or assets, both suitable for indoor and outdoor use. UWB Tag's short-duration UWB transmissions result in exceptionally long battery life, reducing maintenance costs. For example, a UWB Tag programmed at 1 Hz blink rate can be used to continuously track an asset for over 7 years.
