Zebra UWB Tags are innovative, lightweight active tags utilized for monitoring assets and personnel. These tags broadcast concise Ultra-wideband (UWB) pulses detectable by Zebra’s UWB Sensors. Each tag transmits a distinct ID that corresponds to a particular asset. The UWB Sensors link to Zebra’s UWB Hub, which calculates the real-time location of these tags. Zebra UWB Tag is recognized as the world's pioneering UWB tag conforming to the new international UWB standard, IEEE 802.15.4.f, and ISO-24730-61. It can operate in its native Zebra format or in the ISO/IEEE standard format. Zebra’s UWB Sensors are equally compliant with ISO/IEEE standards. Leveraging Zebra’s standards-compliant UWB solution enables you to secure your UWB infrastructure investment and expand its utility, as it supports compatibility with both Zebra tags and other compliant tags. UWB Tag pulses are notably brief, facilitating excellent real-time tracking precision and enabling the simultaneous tracking of thousands of tags. These to-the-point UWB pulses also ensure a remarkably long battery life. For example, a UWB tag configured at a 1 Hz blink rate can continuously track an item for over seven years. These tags operate on a 3V coin cell battery and can be turned on or off and configured to various blink rates using the Zebra UWB Wand.
