Socket's Cordless Hand Scanner 7E is an entry-level scanning solution that sends barcode data wirelessly via a Class 1 Bluetooth radio to any Bluetooth enabled device, such as a Pocket PC, notebook, Pen Tablet, RIM, Palm PDA, Symbian Smart Phones or BlackBerry device. The scanner features Linear CMOS Imaging technology with low power consumption. The Socket error-proof protocol ensures that the host computer correctly receives the scanned data, by validating data in real time. Cordless Hand Scanner 7E features a powerful Class 1 Bluetooth radio that enables connection at a range of 300 feet (100 m), even when connected to the weaker Class 2 Bluetooth radios found in many mobile computers. Keyboard emulations means that you can use the Cordless Hand Scanner 7E with any of your favorite applications with out custom programming.
