The Point Mobile PM85 is a powerful business mobile computer with two scanner engine options and a dual speakers. By scanning 1D barcodes with a resolution of 3 mils and white LED illumination, the high-resolution PM85 scanner increases reading performance, resulting in enhanced coloured barcode readability and imager capture results. It also contains OCR and EasyParse extra functionality for driving licenses, boarding permits, and automotive part parsing, in addition to barcodes. The Point Mobile PM85's Qualcomm Snapdragon Octa-core CPU runs at 1.8GHz for maximum processing capability, and memory options vary from 4GB RAM to 64GB ROM. The Point Mobile PM85's 5" IPS display is also protected by a capacitive Corning Gorilla glass that is shatterproof and scratch resistant making the device IP67 rated and is 1.8m drop resistant to concrete (MIL-STD 810G).
