Getac S400 Rugged Laptop

Built from the ground up to be one of the most rugged semi-rugged notebook computers built, the Getac S400 is made using Getac's new KryptoShell body which allows the S400 to meet or exceed MIL-STD-810G temperature, shock, vibration specifications and a 2.5 foot drop on 6 faces. The S400 offers two processor options including the powerful Intel Core i5 2.4GHz processor, MAX 2.93GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology. The S400 features a 14 inch widescreen display and can be configured with features essential for field use including a bright, 700 NITS display with glove-friendly multi-touch touch screen technology and water resistant backlit keyboard. With an integrated Gobi 2000 mobile broadband card, the S400 can be easily configured for multi-carrier wireless deployments. Security is always a concern and the S400 is loaded with advanced security features to safeguard important data including a fingerprint scanner, TPM 1.2, and a smart card reader. With its rugged design, advanced options and powerful software tools, the S400 semi-rugged notebook is built to handle the task wherever your job takes you.
