A single-user client device delivering corporate PBX functionality to teleworkers and remote call center agents over a LAN public or private packet networks the EXTender 4000 for IP is a single-user customer premise equipment that provides PBX -based voice services to remote workers over cable or DSL connections. Remote workers can use a digital telephone for full access to the organization's PBX-KTS. The EXTender 4000 includes an internal hub that allows it to plug directly in a 10Base-T Ethernet port on a LAN or into a 10Base-T Ethernet port on a network access device for use in remote access applications.
