Printronix certified RFID Smart Labels combine the technology of thermal transfer, pressure-sensitive labels with RFID tags. We have gone to great lengths to ensure that our RFID Smart Labels with their many different sizes and antenna configurations provide the finest RF performance possible when used with our RFID printers. Under software control, the RFID printer writes data to the RFID tag, then validates that the EPC information can be read reliably. After completing this validation process, the RFID printer prints the human-readable and barcode data. If for any reason the RFID encoding process cannot be validated, the RFID label is printed with an overstrike pattern to prevent it from entering your supply chain.

We offer a broad range of Zebra smart media supplies for RFID printers and encoders for a wide variety of RFID applications and environments, including custom tag inlay placement designed for the needs of your specific RFID printing/encoding application. The Alien Technology Squiggle inlay is a high-performance, general purpose RFID inlay for use in a wide variety of applications.

The Alien Technology "2-2" is a general-purpose RFID inlay, designed for use in baggage tags and larger items, including apparel and pharmaceutical supplies.

With its Higgs-3 core, the "Square" delivers exceptional performance and is especially well suited for item level applications where geometries are constrained.

The Alien Technology "G" delivers ultra-high, "best-of-breed" performance. It is especially well-suited for challenging materials with high-dielectric properties, such as plastic and glass (hence the "G" nickname).

The Micro x II is constructed to perform under extreme heat and repeated exposure to caustic fluids for applications such as sterilizations, hot water wash cycles and post-paint processes.
