The Mediant 1000 Hybrid Media Gateway is a modular, compact and cost-effective media gateway solution which has been designed to interface between TDM and IP networks in enterprises or small-scale carrier locations. The compact Mediant 1000 modular gateway is extremely scalable and supports multiples of 1, 2 or 4 E1/T1/J1 spans or 1 to 24 analog ports in various FXS/FXO configurations. The Mediant 1000 also supports mixed digital/analog configurations.

The AudioCodes Element Management System (EMS) is an advanced solution for standards-based management of VoP networks, covering all the areas vital to the efficient operation, administration, management, and provisioning (OAM and P) of the Mediant, Stretto, and MediaPack Series Analog VoIP Gateways. The AudioCodes EMS enables Network Equipment Providers (NEP) and System Integrators (SI) the ability to offer end-users rapid time-to-market and inclusive, cost-effective management of next-generation networks.

The LD series accomodates low to high density environments with 4, 8, 16, or 24 port boards. The SmartWORKS API supports a total of 512 channels per system. The tapping point can be anywhere on an analog line: between Central Office and PBX, Central Office and phones, or PBX and phones. Terminate Environment The LD series can be used to initiate as well as terminate calls. When configured as an interactive resource, phone lines can directly connect to and terminate on the LD boards. Standard ring detection is available.
